Like I said, I had to take some creative license. I try to give credit where credit is due. I posted the progress on a different site so, I'm sorry if you have seen this before. I'm currently working on 1/6 X-wing Cockpit only to include R2 space. I put one of those already on the top of the panel which isnt shown. 1 I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post. Montagar, that is a restraining bolt! They didnt use it in the original, but they did use a holo eye in the cockpit. I will get more movies of everything once it is installed, so you get the total experience of closing the cockpit, firing up the panel and doing the trench run w/ sound. Not sure how to proceed, but if the geometry I've come up with so far isn't as accurate as it seemed at first, then I'm just building yet another wonky not-quite-right x-wing. What do we mean by a 'series of planes' Our entire lineup of mid-wing designs is also available in the Hi-Max. Here is a demo movie of what it will do (w/o sound right now): work has stalled: the cockpit is just not matching photos cleanly the way all the shots from the rear did. The Team Hi-Max is not just a single plane design its a series of planes sharing a few common features: single place, high wing, enclosed cabin and wood & fabric construction. The user can activate the targeting computer screen, which will play back the trench run down to endgame along with synchronized sound!! There are several screens the user can activate. The trench run graphic is actually an animation. My lofty goal years back is that I wanted to make the cockpit kind of do something. Its pretty cool! The old cockpit was kind of bland (to say the least) and not very interesting. The x-wing might be in an upcoming event here, but every month they have an open-cockpit day where anyone can come to the museum and sit in her.
